What is Simulation & Stimulation?
It is Folli-Doc's main treatment: two outcomes in one in-clinic session. Simulation creates a visibly fuller look on the day, blended with your own hair. Stimulation is the scalp-care part, looking after your scalp and follicle environment going forward.
How long does a session take?
About 3 hours in total, including the scalp analysis at the start and the mirror check at the end.
Is it a wig or a hair transplant?
No. It isn't a wig, so it isn't something you wear or take off, and it is non-surgical, so there is no transplant surgery.
Will it cure my hair loss or baldness?
No treatment we offer is a cure, and we don't promise regrowth. Simulation gives a fuller look on the day; Stimulation is ongoing scalp care. What is realistic for you depends on your scalp analysis, and results vary from person to person.
Is the scalp analysis really free?
The first scalp and follicle analysis is offered free. It shows what is going on with your scalp, what Simulation & Stimulation can realistically do for you, and when it is not the right fit.
Will it look natural?
During the Design step we match the look to your own hair colour, hair direction and the areas that look thin, and nothing starts until you agree. You check the result together with us in the mirror on the day.
Does it hurt? Is there downtime?
Before anything starts, your specialist explains each step and what you can expect to feel. During the session we check in with you regularly, and you can ask for a short pause at any time. Ask at your assessment about aftercare for your scalp.
Do I have to pay before I see the result?
You see your same-day visual result in the mirror first, then decide. This refers to the visual Simulation result only; it is not a promise of regrowth.
Where are Folli-Doc branches in Malaysia?
Folli-Doc has three branches in Malaysia: KL Gateway Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Sibu in Sarawak. The same process is used in every city.
Is it suitable for women?
Folli-Doc's simulation approach is designed for a range of concerns, including male and female pattern thinning. Whether it suits you is decided at your scalp analysis.
